Baskerville Display PT

Baskerville Display PT is a type family intended for large and extra large point sizes. It was inspired by the faces of John Baskerville and designed for expressive display typography. Two weights of Baskerville Display with matching italics are much lighter than the existing text versions of Baskerville. Each of them is an ideal partner for ITC New Baskerville. A good addition to the family is Baskerville Poster which will look great in very large sizes. The font was designed by Arina Alaferdova under the supervision of Dmitry Kirsanov.

Bodoni PT, a contemporary serif with a historical background, is a flexible type system that has fonts for both long paragraphs and extra-large size headings. Bodoni PT is based on the proportions and characteristic features of the typefaces of Giambattista Bodoni, “king of printers and printer of kings.” At the same time, Bodoni PT is fully adapted to modern conditions. It works well on screen and in print, looks natural in text and its design doesn’t look archaic. Bodoni PT has weights ranging from Regular to Extrabold and a fully realized gradation of optical sizes. Text styles are intended for small sizes. Subhead styles work best for medium and Display – for large and extra-large sizes. Overall, there are 15 upright styles and 15 corresponding italics, two variable fonts as well as a special ornamental style. The typeface has an extended character set. All styles support European languages based on the Latin and Cyrillic alphabets.

Nagel is a contemporary uniwidth display sans serif for headlines and short texts. The scope of Nagel is branding and identity of IT companies, infographics, scientific and technical documentation — any areas where a technical, modern typeface with distinctive graphics may be required. Nagel is a closed low-contrast typeface with an emphasis on stroke joints. The length of the line set in Nagel remains the same in all weights. The typeface has all the advantages of monospaced typeface graphics, but none of their functional disadvantages. Characters in Nagel are made monospace-like wide, as opposed to traditionally narrow characters of proportional fonts, and often have slab serifs. Letters of monospaced fonts that have to be narrowed down considerably, have the usual width here. The typeface includes three upright styles — Regular, Medium, Bold; two sets of 11 and 18 slanting degrees and a variable version with two axes: Weight and Slant.
