We are an independent Italian digital type foundry: Cooperativa Anonima Servizi Tipografici. Established as a cooperative in Bolzano, Italy, our foundation is built on the principles of mutuality, solidarity, and democracy.

Our team includes type designers, programmers, and developers, along with teachers, researchers, and graphic designers. We collaborate closely with Italian and international publishers, printing historians, typographers, and calligraphers. What sets us apart is our ability to work collectively, sharing technical and cultural knowledge to bring high-quality type design to the forefront of the market.

Our aim is to contribute meaningfully to the culture of type—not only through our own work, but also by embracing a shared commitment to historical and technical research.

We pursue an ambitious mission: to serve the typographic needs of nearly the entire design and visual communication world—mass-market companies and their agencies, designers and art directors, students and educators, researchers, and publishers.
