CorpidMono retains the same humanistic nature as Corpid but also includes the mechanical quirks (or charm) of monospaced fonts. Monospaced fonts (also called fixed-width or non-proportional fonts) have characters that occupy the same amount of horizontal space. This means that letters, such as the narrow “i” and the wide “w,” are given the same width, resulting in distortion that makes “i” appear wider and “w” appear slimmer. The same applies to all characters, which gives the text a distinctive appearance. CorpidMono is a perfect tool for projects that need a clean, methodical “on the grid” look.
