Dolly, Underware’s first release, is a restrained, relatively low-contrast book typeface comprising just four fonts: Regular, Italic, Small Caps, and Bold. Its pronounced serifs and distinct features aid legibility; its curved stroke endings and gentle curves impart a soft, calligraphic finish. Dolly’s understated typographic palette gives experienced designers the means to grapple with just about any problem presented by book and magazine typography. The family features more than twenty ligatures, two styles of figures, and support for Underware’s Latin Plus character set. Underware, 2001.
