Art Director, Type Designer and Calligrapher born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She obtained her diploma at the University of Palermo, and later completed a postgraduate career in Type Design at the University of Buenos Aires –where she also taught for eight years–. Yani’s notorious interest in Calligraphy applied to Graphic Design –along with the development of a calligraphic style of her own–, lead her to relate with design in a different way, also applying these resources in typographic projects like “Abelina Pro”, “Quotes” and “Envelove”, which are part of Sudtipos’ catalog. Among her most recognized calligraphic-design projects is her participation in the campaign “No va más” (NO MORE) for the Centro Cultural Recoleta, representing the female voice through written words.
