Mike Abbink

Mike Abbink is the Executive Creative Director of the IBM Brand Experience and Design Team. Abbink’s extensive design career began in 1996 as a designer at MetaDesign in San Francisco and has since continued as a creative director for the Museum of Modern Art, Wolff Olins, Saffron Consultants, Method (also co-founder), and as a design director at Apple Computer. Mike has created robust and award-winning typefaces such as FF Kievit, FF Milo, GE Inspira, Brando Serif and Sans, and most recently, IBM Plex. In addition, Mike continues to design and collaborate in typeface design with Bold Monday.
