Elena Schneider

Elena grew up in Koblenz, Germany. She studied visual communication in the university of applied sciences in Dortmund and Typeface Design at The University of Reading. Now she is a mother and an independent type and logo designer in Húsavík, Iceland. Elena teaches type design at the Iceland University of the Arts in Reykjavík, is an active member of Alphabettes, an international network to support and promote women in the type industry. She also mentors professional newcomers.

Elena has a soft spot for creating edgy display fonts.
