Antonio was born in Huauchinango, Mexico. He is a graphic designer (1997-2002), with a postgraduate degree in Corporate Identity Design (2005-2006) from Elisava in Barcelona, and a Master in Typographic Design from Centro de Estudios Gestalt in Mexico (2014-2016). He has worked as a branding, editorial and packaging designer in different studios in Mexico City. In 2016 he ventured into the freelance world and currently works on custom typography projects, modifications, retail and logos from his studio and foundry in Querétaro, Mexico. He is left-handed and loves nature.

In the beginning, Lechuga Type developed a friendly display font, then later worked the intermediate weights to work in small sizes to give a clear hierarchy in texts. Bruna is an ideal typeface family for text and display. A versatile family with a pleasant taste. In short, Lechuga wanted to build a functional family without becoming too large. Lechuga developed a 16-font family with almost 900 different glyphs such as small caps, superiors, inferiors, fractions, tabular, old-style and lining figures, mathematical, numbers, etc. This allows you to compose editorial complexity. Its open counters and great height of x give it excellent performance in small sizes. On the other hand, its curved diagonals, generous width, and soft shapes give it a friendly but functional personality for a wide range of messages and tones of voice. Lechuga recommends the four most extreme weight variants (Thin, ExtraLight, Black, and Heavy) for large sizes starting at 18 points and the four intermediate weights (Light, Regular, Medium, and Bold) for small sizes starting at six points.

Gabriela is an extension of its predecessor, Gabriela Stencil, to cover a wider range of uses. With the same DNA, this option is more attractive for short to medium sized paragraphs. It is the ideal Didone family for elegant branding and editorial projects. It includes more than 300 alternate glyphs, swashes, and more than 75 ligatures in its alternate version, which allow composing with a different look but the same spirit, as well as composing more stylized titles. It has 9 weight variants, true italics and an average of 750 characters per variant, supporting more than 90 Latin languages.
